WARHORSE MAT PILATES
Pilates is a method of training that focuses on controlled movement, breath, and precision—the same fundamentals that make great lifters. This class builds deep core strength, joint stability, and mobility to support stronger lifts and more efficient movement. We'll work the smaller stabilizing muscles and movement patterns that keep you healthy, resilient, and moving well under load.
Think of this as maintenance work for your body. The kind that helps you stay consistent with your training, recover better, and move without compensation patterns that lead to injury. Whether you're chasing a new PR or just want to feel better in your body, this class complements your strength work by addressing what happens between the heavy sets.*We'll have a few extras available, but we always encourage bringing your own for comfort.
Meet your instructor
Hi, I’m Zoey. I’ve always been active, but my approach to training shifted when I started focusing on how strength, control, and movement quality work together. Learning how to support my body through smart training and recovery is what led me to Pilates and ultimately to teaching.
I work as a graphic designer by day and train in Pilates with a focus on building strength, stability, and durability that carries over into the gym and everyday life. Outside of training, I love reading, practicing yoga, and spending time exploring Philly with my fiance and our dog, Winnie.
I believe strength is built through consistency, intention, and doing hard things well. My goal is to help people feel confident in the gym, move better under load, and build a body they trust.
