The benefits of an intelligently designed strength training program are undeniable and when combined with the support of a highly motivated community, the possibilities are truly endless. Unfortunately, prior to Warhorse, this did not exist in the City of Philadelphia. So we created it. 

 

We opened Warhorse with the purpose of creating a community built on trust, accountability, and tenacity. Our goal since day one has been to provide people with a safe space that fosters individual growth in a group setting and our community-based strength and conditioning programs have been proven to do just that.  

 

No matter your experience, we offer two different programs at Warhorse that will meet your training needs.

 

Our Semi-Private program includes an individualized training program done in a small group setting. We design a program specifically geared towards not only your own training goals but your training history and experience. Our coaches guide you every step of the way to make sure you’re progressing in the safest and most effective way possible. Semi-Private is perfect for anyone that is looking for individualization, has a specific training goal, is training for a specific event or sport, or just enjoys being coached in a more intimate setting.  

 

In addition to Semi-Private, we have our flagship strength training program called Ignite. Ignite is not only an aesthetics focused workout plan, guaranteed to get you looking awesome with your shirt off, but it’s proven to build strength, endurance, and self-confidence. During this fast-paced 60-minute training session, you can expect to push yourself harder than you imagined, all thanks to an unbeatable training environment fueled by our expert coaches and you guessed it – the people around you. If you enjoy the camaraderie of a large group, Ignite is definitely for you.

 

Prior to joining either Semi Private or Ignite, we put everyone through our Intro to Strength program. You’ll get 12 sessions over 4 weeks all done in a Semi-Private setting. No matter your experience, everyone must come through this program. There is the possibility of fast tracking you into the Ignite program if that’s of interest to you and we believe it’s a good fit, otherwise, this is essentially our way of  acclimating you into the gym, how we coach things and to make sure this is the right place for you before making any membership decisions. You’ll have the chance to get the full Warhorse experience – meet our coaches, train alongside fellow members and yes, you will still train hard. 

 

Your very first visit to Warhorse will be an introductory assessment which usually runs about 30 minutes and will consist of a movement assessment, possibly some lifting, but most importantly a one-on-one conversation with a coach to help us better understand how we can help you.

 

We’ll also be able to answer all of your questions on our membership options including Intro to Strength, Ignite and Semi-Private as well as anything else you might want to know.
