OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Warhorse Barbell Club is committed to serving each and every one of you and our priority is ensuring the safety of not only our members but our surrounding communities as well.
With the infiltration of COVID-19 into our world, now more than ever we need to trust that we’re all doing our part to help keep everyone safe.
In order to do that, we’ve implemented increased safety measures and operational changes. And, as we continue to navigate these uncertain times, you can trust that we are doing everything we can to protect you, our community, and our staff.
In addition to existing continuous cleaning protocols, we will add a rigorous, deep-cleaning and disinfecting process after each training session. This will take place while the gym is empty during a 30-minute buffer between sessions.
Cleaning stations consisting of disinfectants, paper towels, and trashcans are strategically placed throughout the facility. This is to eliminate high-touch areas. We will also be using a handheld sprayer during the 30-minute deep-cleaning window, that efficiently attacks microbes, and provides 3x more coverage.
Consisting of indoor and outdoor training times. And longer gaps between sessions to allow for cleaning.
Members and our staff alike will be required to complete a mandatory Health Declaration upon arrival to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms.
Members and our staff alike will have their temperatures taken via a touchless thermometer upon arrival at out check-in station. Any staff members or athletes with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, will not be permitted entry into WHBC.
Staff and members will be required to alert the owners of WHBC if they test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last visit. Warhorse will email all potentially exposed persons if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Warhorse Barbell Club.
Members are REQUIRED to register for their training sessions via the Zenplanner app. This is nonnegotiable, members will NOT be permitted in the facility if they are not registered. We are also limiting the number of members in the gym to no more than FOUR at a time. As certain restrictions are lifted, we will increase this number to seven.
As of July 20th, members will be required to wear a mask at all times during their visit. Coaches are required to wear face coverings at all times and gloves when they are cleaning in between sessions.
Upon entry, members will be directed to a designated area to get their temperature checked and answer a Health Declaration questionnaire. Once they are permitted into the facility members will be required to wash their hands before the start of their session. Each member will also be assigned a designated training station where they will remain for the duration of their workout.
